MEET THE TUTORS:
Gina's Language Studio has been committed to developing young minds since 2005. Founded by Gina Lopez-Colon, a native Spanish speaker, Gina's Language Studio provides educational techniques to instruct students. While earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and minor studies in Spanish and French, Gina taught Spanish to children, in addition to working as a Spanish and French tutor for the Foreign Language Lab. Her skills and experience include tutoring pre-schoolers all the way to business people.  Her students are taught in a fun, hands-on environment; one appropriate for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners. Her teaching methodology not only  includes the fundamental aspects of the language but also emphasizes the Spanish and/or French culture through the use of music, reading and conversation for an enriching experience. 

Kristine Bonniot received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communications from Oregon State University, and then went on to pursue her Master in Education from the University of Phoenix. Kristine has her California Teacher’s Certification, CSET certificate, RICA (Reading Instruction Competency Assessment) certification, and CBEST certification. She is an experienced Behavioral Therapist, and has worked with a wide array of children in a special education classroom. Kristine’s approach to learning Language Arts and Reading proficiency provides each student with the tools to heighten his or her current skill level.  She applies a fun and motivating style, blending reading, writing, research and comprehension through areas of student interest which adhere to the state and federal education standards. Kristine has worked as a substitute teacher, and as a teacher for Los Angeles and Las Virgenes School Districts (LAUSD and LVUSD).

Gina's Language Studio focuses on building confidence, motivation, focus, and conversational skills. Whether the student comes from a public school, private school, or home schooled, we will make sure each learner receives the successful strategies so they can succeed on their own. Our friendly, warm, and enthusiastic teachers create a safe and supportive atmosphere for your child.
